We collect only what you give us through the site's two forms:

• Email list signup — your email address, an optional first name, which property page you signed up from, a tag describing the signup context, and the welcome promo code we issue you.
• Stay inquiries — your name, email, optional phone number, your dates (or desired move-in and duration for extended stays), guest count, and whatever you write in your message.

Technical data: your IP address is used transiently to rate-limit form submissions and is not stored in our database. Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server access logs.

• No analytics or advertising trackers run on this site.
• No cookies are set for visitors. The only cookies used anywhere are essential sign-in cookies for our own staff admin area — nothing on the public site.
• We never sell or rent personal information, to anyone.

• To answer your inquiry and correspond about a stay.
• To send your welcome email and promo code when you join the list.
• To send subscribers occasional marketing email (new homes, seasonal rates). Every marketing email carries a working unsubscribe link.
• To operate the site and prevent abuse of our forms.

A small set of providers process data on our behalf, only as needed to run the site, and may do so on servers in the United States:

• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Neon — the database where signups and inquiries are stored.
• Resend — sends our email (welcome, confirmations).
• Google — sign-in for our own staff admin area only. Visitors never sign in with Google, and no visitor data goes to Google.

Property pages embed a neighborhood map from OpenStreetMap. Loading it sends your IP address and standard browser information to the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which has its own privacy policy.

• Subscriber records are kept while you're subscribed. After you unsubscribe we retain the address with its opt-out flag as a suppression record, so we never email it again.
• Inquiry records are kept as business correspondence for [RETENTION PERIOD], then deleted.
• We delete personal information sooner on request (see below).

• Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Email stay@carolinasdreamvacations.com to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll respond within 30 days.
• Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional privacy rights; the same email address is the way to exercise them.

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child gave us personal data, contact us and we'll delete it.

The site is served over HTTPS, the admin area is restricted to named staff accounts, and form input is validated and rate-limited. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we treat your contact details as guest information, not a marketing asset.

If our practices change we'll update this page and its “last updated” date. Material changes to how we use subscriber data will be flagged by email.
